Obituary of Catherine Hiebert

Catherine Hiebert, 84, of Grunthal, MB., passed away, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Menno Home for the Aged, Grunthal, MB.

She is survived by her step-son, three sisters, four brothers and ten sisters-in-law.

She was predeceased by her husband Jacob Hiebert, her son Joseph, her parents Klaas & Katherina Reimer, brothers Edwin, Albert, Jake, Klaas, Cornie, Peter, & Abe, and one sister Mary.

Catherine sewed many items for her nieces and nephews and other people in the community. 

Viewing will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., with a devotional at 7:30 p.m., at Reinland Mennonite Church, Grunthal, MB.

The funeral service will be held Friday, April 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Reinland Mennonite Church, Grunthal, MB., with interment to follow at the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Catherine may be made to Menno Home Foundation, Box 1284, Grunthal, MB R0A 0R0.

The family would also like to send a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Menno Home.
