Obituary of Verna Marie Weryha

Verna Weryha, age 83, passed away peacefully at Red River Place, Selkirk, MB.

She is survived by her children, one daughter Barbara, three sons, Travis, Bradley and Noel, and their families, as well as three brothers Dennis, Dwight, Vern and their families.

Verna is predeceased by her husband Taras, daughter Sandra, parents Albert & Viola, brother Wayne, and sister Justine.

On Monday, May 6, 2024, Verna started her journey home, walking hand in hand with Jesus, to live with God, her Creator. On Thursday, May 16, 2024, her journey was complete.

Graveside prayer service will be on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Sarto, MB.
