Obituary of George Braun

With heavy hearts we the Family, announce the passing of George Braun, to his Heavenly Home on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

George was born on December 12, 1957, to Peter and Maria (Friesen) Braun in Hague, Saskatchewan. 

George and Anna Got married on September 3, 1994.

George retired from Harmon Poultry Farm, January 2023, and enjoyed a brief retirement being at home, taking care of yard and garden, as well as taking numerous trips.

Over the years George wore several different hats, from construction worker, truck driver, missionary, to farm employee. Always being faithful in bible studies, prayer meetings, and church attendance.

He leaves to mourn the love of his life Anna, son Nathan, and daughter Alanna, as well as many family members and friends.

 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
