Roselin Marie Friesen was born to Aron M. and Maria Penner on October 8, 1916 at Greenland, Manitoba. Mother passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord on November 26, 2007 at Maplewood Manor, Steinbach. Mother was united in marriage with Bernard W. Friesen on June 6, 1943. They shared life’s joys and sorrows for 47 years. This union was blessed with four daughters and two sons. Left to mourn her passing are her children: Margaret (Robin) Morris, Phyllis Friesen, Gladys Lowell, Raymond (Seilyn) Friesen, George (Rhonda) Friesen, June Busch (Trevor); 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers and sisters Nellie Toews, Evelyn Fricke, Jessie Penner, Waldon (Mildred) Penner, Abe (Carrie) Penner, three sisters-in-law: Agnes, Anna and Pauline Penner and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Bernard, one infant grandson, three brothers and five sisters. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 30 at 7:30 p.m. with a devotional at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in Steinbach on Saturday, December 1 at 10:30 a.m. with interment at Heritage Cemetery.
