Suddenly, Thursday, January 31, 2008, Ted Johnson passed away at his residence in Steinbach, at the age of 52. He is survived by his wife Liana, two sons Jagr and Blaze, four stepdaughters and two children from a previous marriage. He is also survived by his mother, two sisters, three brothers and their families, Liana’s family and his friends. Ted was a dozer operator at Diamond and took great pride in his work. He really appreciated his boss and friend Ted Falk who was a great support to him and his family after the amputation of his leg. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 375 Loewen Blvd., Steinbach with Pastor Dave Millar officiating. There will be no viewing. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers a trust fund will be set up for his boys Jagr and Blaze.
