Peacefully on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at Menno Home for the Aged in Grunthal, Agatha Dueck, age 91, went to her eternal home. She will be lovingly remembered by her six children: three daughters: Mary (John) Zacharias, Agatha (Corny) Wiebe, Eva (Larry) Gordon, three sons: Pete (Tina), Dick (Hilda), and Ed (Karen); 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Nettie (Peter) Dueck and three sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her husband Jacob J. Dueck in 1984 and three sons: Jake, Corny and one in infancy. A viewing will be held Thursday, February 14 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, and at the church prior to the service. The funeral service will be held Friday, February 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chortitzer Mennonite Church, 479 Hanover Street, Steinbach, with interment at Heritage Cemetery.
