Arnold Brandt of Steinbach passed away at the Bethesda Hospital on Monday, February 14, 2011 at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Gertrude (nee Penner); children Jennifer (Les) Friesen, Josie Brandt, Heidi (Cameron) Wiebe, Marlowe (Meg), Darcen (Feleana), Quincy; 14 grandchildren; his brother Dave (Mary), brother-in-law Henry Plett, sister-in-law Annie Brandt,. He was predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth Brandt, seven brothers and two sisters. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Thursday, February 17 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Friday, February 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Southland Community Church, 52 Hwy W, Steinbach. Interment at the Blumenort EMC Cemetery.
