Obituary of Mary Wieler
Our mother and grandmother, Mary Funk Wieler, passed away peacefully on the eve of February 28, 2008. Mom was baptized upon the confession of her faith at the Randolph CMC Church. Mom was born on November 9, 1923 in the New Bothwell area, where she lived until she married our dad, Henry K. Wieler on September 23, 1948. They farmed near Randolph where they were blessed with three sons, John (Lois), Henry, and Norman (Lena). They had eight grandchildren, Mary-Jane, John-Henry, and Katie-Lynn; Donovan and Rachel; Matthew, Kelsey, and Kayla.
She is also survived by one sister, Tina (Bob) Penner, two sisters-in-law, Mary (Funk) Kehler, and Sarah (Wieler) and her husband Jacob Harder, and many nieces and nephews.
Mom was predeceased by Henry K. Wieler, her husband of 46 years, in 1994, her parents Jacob and Agatha Funk, three brothers, two sisters, one sister-in-law, and two brothers-in-law.
