Verna was called upon by the Lord. At home with her family by her side, peacefully the angels carried her to heaven. A celebration of Verna’s life will be held Monday, Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. at the Ste Anne Roman Catholic Church, Mass at 1:30 p.m. with Father René Chartier officiating. Interment to follow at the Ste Anne Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Verna’s memory to Cancer Care Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
