Paulette Courcelles, 55, of St. Malo, MB, passed away, following a lengthy illness on Monday, May 20, 2013, at St. Pierre Hospital. She is survived by her children: Valerie Bourrier (Sylvain) and Louis Doerksen (Carmen); four grandchildren: Monica, Dior, Chanel, and Kaedence: two sisters: Doris Penner (Allan), Elaine Hassan (Ken); two brothers: Robert Courcelles (Stephaine), Louis Courcelles (Theresa); stepmon Anita Courcelles (Aime); and close family friends Anita Preteau and Syliva Wiwsoniski & family. She was predeceased by her parents Andre & Lorette Courcelles and one brother Richard Courcelles. Paulette enjoyed taking pictures, road trips, playing cards & dice, camping, fishing, and sitting around a bonfire. She loved to help others whenever she could. Paulette finally got her wings and has gone home to be with family and friends in heaven. Special thanks to all the nursing staff at the Steinbach and St. Pierre hospitals, Dr. D. Reimer, Dr. M. Burnett, the palliative care team, and home care. The celebration of life will be held Friday, May 24, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with interment at St. Malo Parish Cemetery.
