EDWARD PETER DOERKSEN Edward Peter Doerksen, 65, of Winnipeg (Niverville), passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at the St. Adolphe Personal Care Home. He is survived by three sisters, two brothers and their families. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Katharina Doerksen and one brother. Eddie will be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, his loyalty and his willingness to help a friend or family member in need. He devoted years of loyal service to Palliser Furniture and Wiens Furniture as a delivery driver and later as a truck driver for Schroeder Freight. His sensitivity and gentle spirit made him a loyal and lifelong friend that will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Youth for Christ, Box 897, Niverville, MB R0A 1E0.
