i grew up with Wayne in Killarney, many childhood memories of baseball in their extra large yard. also lived with Wayne in Winnipeg for a few years at 445 Arnold Ave. he was a natural athlete. excelled at golf, baseball, amongst other things. including artistry - designed the first Killarney Raiders logo, Wayne was always in good humour, with a positive attitude. never a bad word about anyone. i was fortunate to see Wayne just before he passed - he was the same great guy, with a sparkle in his eye. may you rest in peace, old friend.

It was good to see Wayne this summer. I had a quick chat with him at the Golf Course and I could still see the spark that made Wayne such a great friend. Rest easy my friend, as we say in the Navy, "You have crossed the bar. It's all fair winds and following seas from now on."

I was so saddened to hear about Wayne. Way, way too early for a loss such as this. Wayne was a great friend in highschool and I have many great memories. As is often the case we lost touch over the years but I asked about Wayne often. My condolences to everyone with heartaches today. Take care.

RiP old friend. many fine memories of you - roommate, teammate, neighbour. never a voice raised in anger - you were one fine gentleman. never wager Wayne on a golf course - everyone learned that lesson at an early age.
