Obituary of Helena Hiebert

Helena Hiebert was born to Jakob Hiebert and Aganetha Toews on September 22, 1925. She got her wish "to go from her home to heaven" on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.

She has left a legacy of love, integrity, a sweet sense of humour and feistiness, graciousness, strength, creativity  -  leaving big shoes to fill for all who knew her, especially her eight children with their spouses: Lynda & Greg Manchur, Henry & Barb, Jake & Wendy, Tony & Wendy, Sarah & Darrell Alexander, Agnes & Don Neufeld, Margaret & Howard Kyle, Anamaria & Craig Derenchuck; her 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Peter S. Hiebert in 2004, her first two infant children, her sisters Mary Friesen, and Anna Hiebert, her brother Jake Hiebert, and six siblings in childhood, and numerous sisters- and brothers-in-law.

Her service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Word of Life Church, 233-3 Street South, Niverville, MB, with viewing one hour prior to the service.
