I will never forget how much he has done for us, thank you for everything grandpa. My favourite memories include receiving his best and warmest hugs! and how loud he was in the crowd for cheering for me at my graduation, I can never thank you enough grandpa. We’ll miss you forever and always.
Love, Lule Marevci

Bruce (and Wilma) always took such good care of my family growing up. Our driveway was often mysteriously clear in winter, and we enjoyed some family Goldeyes games thanks to them. They blessed us in many ways. I’ve always waved at any Barkman truck I see on the road just in case it was Bruce driving. Even now, Bruce would always take time to chat when we’d see him and he always had something entertaining to say.
He will be missed, his kindness not forgotten.
Our condolences to the family ❤️

Having grown up in Kleefeld, I remember the shockwaves of joy many years ago which shook Kleefeld when the news of Bruce finding Jesus as his saviour spread through the community. That's one of more profound memories of Bruce. That, and how he chased halloween tricksters in his fast car through the streets of Kleefeld, during the time when pranksters still did their thing!

Bruce was a special friend. Many memories, the most recent was this spring, when Covid did not allow us to go have coffee. I think it was in April, Bruce called and invited me to his park for coffee on a Sat. with a few of his friends. He had a fire going, Tim's coffee and muffins. It was good to sit around, with friends and BS a little. We met a few more Saturdays after that. Bruce was very instrumental in organizing this gathering. I'm glad I was part of it.
RIP Bruce

The first time I met Bruce, at a Family function, he was the first one to walk up to me and introduce himself. His friendly smile and genuine caring personality was and always has been his strong suit! Bruce was a wonderful man. My heart goes out to everyone that knew him. Bruce will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
