Many years ago, there was a big hailstorm that hit Grunthal. At the time I thought nothing serious had happened to our home. A few days after the hailstorm Peter V. Esau came to our house; he suggested that we make an insurance claim to reshingle the roof. I felt at the time, that we mattered to PV Esau Insurance, as clients.
As Margaret took over the business, I have always felt that I was cared for by PV Esau Insurance. Over the years, Margaret has spent hours explaining policies and autopac arrangements with me. After the policies were in place, there was always time for a little visit.
Some of the qualities I saw in Margaret Esau were authenticity, generosity, respect of others and integrity.
I am happy that I had the privilege to know Margaret and I would like to extend my condolences to the Esau family. I see the same qualities in the family that I saw in Margaret Esau. What a wonderful legacy.

Dear Esau family,
We grieve with you on the passing of Margaret, but rejoice in the fact that she was a follower of Jesus and is now with Him. I trust this fact will make Easter so much more meaningful for you all. Our memories of Margaret are of a gracious lady who was always interested in what God was doing and in how we were doing. May God give encouragement and good memories to all of you,
Sincerely,
Henry and Janet Armstrong

Sending my condolences to the Esau family. Margaret and Peter were good friends of my parents Cornie and Grace Funk. I have great memories of the visits. Margaret always welcomed us into the home and whenever I met her even years later had a cheerful greeting for me.

I am so sorry for your loss. Margaret was a very good friend to my aunt Mary B. Dueck. They would take drives to the states at the drop of a hat. Anytime i went to grunthal i would bring my aunt along and she would have a visit. When i picked her up i could hear their laughing from the walkway. To picture their reuniting now in Heaven together!

The blessing of knowing Margaret revealed itself in many ways. Her kindness in serving at the office made visits there a joy. As we got to know her family, the gift of friendship was multiplied, encompassing three generations. There is even the shared enjoyment of J.L. Turner's books! Our prayers for comfort and strength to you, her extended family. Lean on God's promises and all He gives you.

A memory I have of Margaret dates back to a time, where as a young child, the Esau home was a safe place to stop on very cold winter days. Their home was the halfway point from the school on Main Street and our house. When our feet became too cold, we would stop there and Margaret always welcomed us in to warm up for few minutes before continuing our walk home ( sometimes there would even be cookies). It is a vivid and fond memory - thank you for the gift of warmth and community.
My condolences to the family. Rest In Peace Margaret.
