To my dear cousin Cindi and family. I am shocked beyond shocked, at Brian's sudden passing. Another hole has been punched in our family fabric . I often thank God for the tight fabric he has woven into our family. I would love to be there, for Brian's send off. However, with covid, time of year, and me just not so speedy anymore, I have decided to take in the service virtually. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you

Dear Cindi, Brady, Shaylee and Saige, the tears are flowing in Australia. You were all so generous with your love, time and support during our last trip to Canada. A very fond memory is our trip to the lake when Brian took us all ice fishing. I lasted about 10 minutes thinking I was going to freeze. When you came to Australia, Brian and Brady went deep sea fishing at the Gold Coast. I have vivid memories of Brian getting off the boat. I have never seen anyone look so seasick. I’m sure we decided to stick to our own nation’s fishing. Even though we’re almost half a world away you are our second family. Sending much love from Australia. When you hurt, we hurt. Please look after one another. You’re in our thoughts, our hearts and prayers. Much love from Liz, Eli, Emma and Pete.

My dad David Swynar reminisced about his first band being a rock band The Innovators, with Brian and Joe. Dad really appreciated when Brian and Alvin picked him up for snowmobiling and bonfire a couple years ago and a personal phone call just weeks ago. Dad says he has stories about Brian for every mile road and corner from Pansy to Sarto. Brian was a good friend! Deepest sympathies.
