Obituary of Peter Janzen

Peter Abraham Janzen, aged 98 years, of Vita, MB., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at the Vita Personal Care Home.

He is survived by his sister Rita Dyck of Chilliwack, B.C., numerous nieces, nephews, along with his step family, Daria Gawronsky, Peter (Pat) Gawronsky, John (Sherry) Gawronsky, grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.

Peter was predeceased by his wife Olga (Gawronsky), one step-son Roman Gawronsky, brother Abe, sisters: Anna Koop, Mary Koop, Sara Sukkau, Helen Goertz and parents Abram & Anna Janzen.

Peter was born August 30, 1923 in Ekaterinoslav, Russia.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Vita Personal Care Home for the care Peter received.

There will be a private family interment at the Senkiw Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Peter can be made to the Senkiw Cemetery Fund c/o P.O. Box 24, Roseau River, MB., R0A 1P0.
