We listened to Dan’s funeral this afternoon and we’re blessed by the many tributes snared by children, grandchildren, sister and others. I just finished listening to the service....I remember when Dan came to the Lord and started attending our church (Steinbach Mennonite Church) He impacted many lives and yes spreading the love of Jesus was who he was (loud and clear). I appreciated hearing his powerful voice. Whenever we met Hilda and Dan it was like we were "friends". Sympathies to you Hilda in the loss of a loving partner and sympathies to the rest of the family. Dear Hilda and family, So sorry for the loss of Dan (Uncle Dan in my childhood)... you both have been such close friends to my parents, from youth to senior! Thank you for that!! Many memories made! I remember from my childhood, being in your living room making music, you playing guitar and Dan playing violin! Anne and i would like to extend our condolences to the family during this time of loss. i always enjoyed dealing with Dan. he would come in often for parts and never walked by my office with out stopping to say hi. he would often times sit down and we would have some good fellowship. that he loved Jesus was always very evident. may God give you strength during this very difficult time.

I have many wonderful memories of Dan. Not only was he a great customers, he also became a good friend and I really enjoyed our talks. He was always so friendly, encouraging, and genuine.
