My deepest condolences to Katy, Arvella, Rod and the rest of David’s family. David was my oldest cousin on his mother’s side…I remember he took that role seriously, and felt a deep sense of responsibility for all things family. Wishing you all much peace and comfort during this difficult time of grief,
- Cousin Noreen

To Katie and family
We were shocked to learn of David’s sudden passing. My memories of David go back to the early 70’s working at the Happening Clothes Shop. Over the years when meeting periodically, I always felt a little more motivated than before we met. From Bev and I, we extend our condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Katy
We send you our deepest condolences. In 2019 when we were in Jerusalem Israel at Canada House and low and behold we saw the most beautiful quilt with a message "Donated by Rev. David & Katy Reimer" We proudly told our all Israeli and Jewish friends who were with us "These are our Friends". Our times together at the same table as Dr. John Lucas are memories that we'll never forget.
In our respect for the work that you and David have done throughout the years we are sending a donation of $180 to ICEJ Canada
from us and our congregation Faith Temple.
Love& Prayers

We have known David since the beginning of his journey with Christ. We have had the privilege of partnering with David and Katy for several years in both Steinbach and Wetaskiwin, Alberta. David's energy, enthusiasm, and love of life were inspiring. His words of faith and hope were ready gifts on his tongue. As Katy has indicated, the David we knew held no grudges.
His loss is so surreal. We join with you the family in your sorrow. At the same time, we encourage your comfort by David's new home, and the Presence of his Saviour!. May the loss of David's presence be comforted by these words: "I go to prepare a place for you--" John 14: 1-4 -- and the words of Paul -- "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." II Corinthians 5: 1-9
Glen & Lois
Our sincere love and prayers for Katy and family, extended family, and friends

Dear Katy, Jonathan, Russell and Natalie,
Our deepest heartfelt condolences to you for the loss of Pastor David. When I came out to Manitoba to attend Providence 24 years ago not knowing anyone in Manitoba and living alone, I met David that first week I moved there and he took me in as a mentor. Over my 5 years there and since moving back to Alberta he became so much more to me. He became that Mentor/Father figure/Pastor and one of my best friends. He provided us pre-marriage counseling/dedicated our oldest child to the Lord in Edmonton. We will miss him dearly, he has been such a positive, optimistic influence in my life. Pastor David and Katy have been so generous to me and my family, and we have received so much blessing through our friendship. I am so sorry for your loss and am praying that you daily sense the comfort and peace of the Holy Spirit as you enter the next part of life's journey. You are always in our thoughts and prayers.

Katy and the Reimer family. Over the many years, I've met many people, pastors, and fellow believers of the Gospel. Without any question, David Reimer was always the most optimistic and hopeful. He always spoke the truth to me and was honest and transparent when he shared his heart. David was an example to many of us and will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Katy and family, our prayers of comfort are with you as our Saviour Jesus draws close to you in this time of great loss.
May God continue to comfort and bless you.

Dear Katy and family, My sincere condolences to you in the loss of your husband David. He will be sorely missed. I remember campaigning with him in Cold Lake and Lethbridge, Alberta, a number of years ago and I learned a lot about how to campaign from him. His energy was phenomenal. He was, and still is, a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has been promoted to glory. May God add His blessing, comfort and peace to your family.

As was mentioned in the Obituary, David was heavily involved in the Basketball community as a referee. As a PE teacher and coach in Steinbach for over 20 years, this is where I got to know David. Always energetic and hard-working, he was known for his intensity and conscientiousness. He demonstrated high character and integrity as a referee and as a referee assignor. I always appreciated and was encouraged by the many conversations about Basketball, politics and faith. It was great to see a pastor so heavily involved in the athletics community as a part of his ministry, and he will be missed.
My deep condolences to family and friends. I pray that many will be drawn closer to our Savior during this time.

David has been such a great friend and encourager to all of us in the Christian Heritage Party. I had the pleasure and privilege of travelling with him by car from town to town in 2014 when he was serving as Interim Leader of the CHP. He and Katy have demonstrated such love and commitment to each other and to the Lord's work. His cheery greetings, his strong faith and his wonderful sense of humour have been—and will continue to be—an inspiration to all who knew him. May God comfort you, Katy, and all the family and friends of David. We join you in remembrance and honour of David's legacy of faith, his love of people and his sacrificial service.

Val and I offer our condolences to you Katy and the family. We have many great memories of working together as partners in business as well as dave, Wayne and myself(Gary) living together in Winnipeg. Even though we haven’t gotten together much in the last 30 years we still have the memories. Dave was a man of God and every time we got together he expressed God’s love. Dave will be missed but not forgotten. Rest in the arms of God.

I got to know David and Katie about 5 years ago when their foster daughter Amanda came to my previous workplace. I had the great pleasure of spending many hours doing respite with Amanda both in my house and in their house. David always made me feel welcomed and showed such genuine interest in my life. Sending my deepest condolences to Katie, her children, grandkids, Alma, Liz, Amanda and all former former kids/adults of theirs.

My deepest condolences go to all of David’s family and friends. He and I had the same birthday. He was a referee when I played basketball in 1979 to 1984 and then still reffed as I was a coach and convinced me to ref as well. Always loved his positivity and big smile. He will be dearly missed.

I will never forget how that David Reimer came right alongside of our ministry from the year that we launched out to travel North among the Inuit in the year of 1992, and has faithfully and energetically supported us ever since with heartfelt passion, and has with all due diligence served on the board of Canada Awakening Ministries right from its beginning in 2003, right up to the time of his departure on May 1, 2022. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. We look forward to a grand reunion some day.
I will never forget how that David and Katy celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on August 3, 2018, the very day of the Pioneer Days Parade in Steinbach that year, and how David and Katy were a part of the parade that year in a horse-drawn carriage. This is just one example of how David did everything with excellence, and was both a generous giver and a vivacious volunteer in the Kingdom. I am so grateful that he was in my life.
