My condolences to the family of Mr. Janzen. He was my homeroom teacher in grade 7 and was the best math teacher! I have good memories being a student in his class.

My Condolences to all the family. Mr. Jantzen was my teacher in my younger life and later we would often walk along the sidewalk together early in the morning to go swimming at the pool. He would often speak about how things are going cabin.

Dear Tante Helen and family!
Uncle Vic was a much-loved member of the extended Janzen family. He was my mom´s cousin, and the family gatherings at Christmas and Easter were priority for him (and for our family). Then, when I got married and lived in Steinbach, my husband, who had recently emigrated to Canada and was still learning English, Uncle Vic and Tante Helen made sure we were welcome at their house. That was appreciated. And my husband enjoyed playing pool with Uncle Vic in the basement, leaving the ladies in the kitchen or living room. Later, when we came back to Canada for visits, we usually visited with them at some point. Because of Uncle Vic´s stay in Paraguay years ago, he was very interested in what Jake had to tell.
Thank you for all the love you gave us!
Sincerely, Jake and Irmi Lepp

Onkel Victor enjoyed a good joke and time to visit at family gatherings. This photo is from one of our Nickel gatherings and I can image these two husbands (Victor and Henry) of the Nickel girls (Helen and Tina) sharing a few good stories. He was very patient and took interest in the people around him. His curiousity led to many trips which meant that at most family gatherings at the Janzens there would be a slide show sharing the highlights of the latest adventure. Many memories to carry forward as we celebrate his life.
