Obituary of Matthew John Finch

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Matthew John Finch, our beloved son, brother, & friend.

Matthew was passionate, loving and caring, who cherished his family & friends above all else. His amazingly beautiful mind, soul, spirit, and personality were all magnetic & was always surrounded by those who loved him.

Music was a huge part of Matthew's life, & he loved the drums and played from a young age. Matthew had also discovered the love and magic of the guitar and truly enjoyed learning as much as he could about everything that drew his interest. He was brilliant.

Of course, Matthew was a huge music lover. He spent countless hours listening to his favorite artists & attending music festivals, concerts and camping with his friends. He had a deep appreciation for all genres of music & was never afraid to express his love for them.

Matthew had a mischievous & playful side. He loved to make people laugh & was always up for a good joke. His sense of humor & zest for life will always be remembered.

Above all, Matthew was a loving & devoted son & brother, who cherished his family deeply. He had a special bond with his mom & dad, brother Justin, sister Kelsey & Aunty Adele, his love for them was immeasurable.

Matthew's kind spirit & love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He lived life to the fullest, & his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him for eternity.

Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. Dress is casual and if you have a favourite band t-shirt feel free to wear it. To join the family via livestream please click HERE shortly before the time of the service.
