Will never forget when you and Ken came to Lodi and cooked for us. You two cooked so well together, and both of you looked to be greatly enjoying yourselves. We were all shocked and greatly saddened to when we heard the news. Sadly, we can't make it up there for the funeral today, but we will be watching online. I hope you get lots of hugs, Sandra. If you ever need to vent or just chat, we are always available to you. <3 Love you!

Kenny, always polite and respectful, used to come over and hang out sometimes. He enjoyed playing hockey with the kids at the outside rink in Chapple North. Recently, we enjoyed his Facebook postings from the various places he went and the interesting meals he made as the 'Highway Chef', while he was on the road. We are saddened by his untimely passing. Condolences to all his family from all our family.

Having known Ken since early childhood we were both shocked and saddened by the news of his death. Our parents were friends and we spent many holidays together over the years. My husband went to grade school and high school with Ken. They shared many adventures together. We are happy that Ken would keep in touch through catch up phone calls throughout the years. He will be missed. Sending love and strength to the family during this hard time.

Ken is one of my oldest and dearest friends. We met in the early 80’s in grade 5 at Sturgeon Creek School. In the years since then, Ken would keep in touch, even visiting once in a while, and it always felt like no time had passed at all. With thousands of miles between us, he always felt near-by. Thank-you Ken, for being a loyal and dependable friend. You will be missed and my heart is heavy.
My condolences to his family and everyone who has been blessed to know him and call him friend.

I met Ken many years ago when He came to Providence College for Youth Encounter. He stayed in my room and accepted Christ as saviour and he kept in touch ever since. When he got into trucking he would call me several times a week to chat and update me on where he was.
He would send me pictures he had taken along the highway. Big Horn Sheep, Eagles, even an albino moose. That last shot was of the full moon on September 7. I had a call from him on September 14 at 8:13 AM. I was shocked to get another call 12 hours later saying he had died on the job. He always made it clear that he was driving to provide for his family and that enjoyed- no- "loved" his job. He did lots of praying for his family. My deepest condolences to Sandra and the girls and grandkids.
It is good to know that as tragic as his passing was he is in good hands now:
"In God's presence is fullness of joy. At His right hands there are pleasures forever."
